The Exam Centre from McCaul Street, just south of College. The facility is the first building at the University that has large rooms dedicated for writing academic exams. These rooms do not have blackboards or data projection systems; they are designed for exam writing only. All seating is at individual 20 x 30" desks.
The building itself has was vacant for many years before being refurbished for the University by the architectural firm Montgomery Sisam. The historic facade was preserved, and the interior renovation (from industrial use) differentiates between old and new structure components through colour (old are white; new are warm grey).
